Why haven't China kept any of the promises they made as a deal to get the games - such as introducing democracy and improving human rights?

China said whatever Olympic organizers wanted to hear in order to have the games held in Beijing. The Olympics are supposed to be a symbol of the best from each country coming together, but China is NOT a team player. The Olympics should not be in China until they are willing to cooperate. The Olympics should be boycotted--I won't watch this time.

But If your saying China should not deserve to host the Olympic games, then it is not fair to the whole world . Because Olympic is a international sport event. And China is just hosting it. Also, Olympic=Olympic, it has nothing to do with politics or government issues.

I believe that in all the living languages of the world, there is no book so full of true knowledge, and yet so handy. It teaches self-control, austerity, non-violence, compassion, obedience to the call of duty for the sake of duty, and putting up a fight against unrighteousness (Adharma). To my knowledge, there is no book in the whole range of the world's literature so high above as the Bhagavad-Gita, which is the treasure-house of Dharma
